My name is Charlotte Thomas and I’m a South, West and Wales Doctoral Training Partnership (SWWDTP, AHRC) funded PhD candidate at the University of Exeter, researching the use of militarised language in global ‘neo-muscular’ Christian men’s groups. I am based in Wales, where I gained my BA and MTh at Cardiff University. I am an honorary Research Associate at the Centre for the Study of the Bible and Violence, an Honorary Tutor at Cardiff University, an Associate Tutor at Cardiff Baptist College, and a member of the William Temple Foundation Ethical Futures Network, a multi-disciplinary network interested in developing theological responses to ecological challenges and digital technologies.
